Dr. Christopher Nee, as the Chief Executive Officer of PharMedQuest, has years of experience creating innovative and integrated pharmaceutical and medical care strategies and solutions. His recent past innovative business model was the Integrated Single Specialty Provider (ISSP) model, which was designed to take full risks for overall oncology services. This model was so successful that it was acquired by a group consisting of a national health plan, PBM, and Private Equity arm in its second year of operation.
Dr. Nee’s two decades of experience and expertise in the integration of pharmacy and medical services has produced a long record of successful pharmacy service development, wasteful cost reduction, and revenue generation companies.
Dr. Nee received his Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Michigan and Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Irvine.
Dr. Duane Saikami, as the Chief Operations Officer of PharMedQuest, has experience in all levels of pharmacy program evaluation, design, development, implementation, and operation. As an expert in the integration of pharmacy practice with medical services, Dr. Saikami has a long record of successful pharmacy service development, expense reduction, and revenue generation.
Previously, Dr. Saikami was the Vice President of Market Capability Development for Medco Health Solutions. Dr. Saikami also held positions at MedPartners, Inc. where he was Vice President of Pharmacy Services and at the Friendly Hills HealthCare Network where he was the Senior Vice President of Pharmacy Services. At Friendly Hills, Dr. Saikami oversaw the development and operation of 27 clinic pharmacies.
Dr. Saikami received his Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration from California State University Long Beach. He is a Board member for the Institute for HealthCare Advancement, an organization that promotes health care literacy and provides outreach and social services in North Orange County, CA.
Mr. Koki Luu joined PMQ in January 2012 and served as Director of Finance before becoming Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Luu was responsible for financial reporting, treasury, tax, mergers and acquisitions, budgets, internal controls and corporate governance. Koki is also a member of the Company’s 401k investment committees.
Mr. Luu brings over 2 decade of financial and management experience in international and group consolidation accounting to the company. Before PMQ, Koki served as Financial Controller for various services and manufacturing facilities in both the private and public sector. Koki has lived and worked in Honolulu, Singapore and Vietnam before settling in Orange county, California.
Mr. Luu earned his bachelor’s and master degree in Finance and Accounting from University of Hawaii, Manoa.
Dr. Anthony Lam currently serves as Medical Director of PharMedQuest, where he manages the ARC™ clinical team, and leads clinical programs and quality care initiatives. Prior to joining PharMedQuest, Dr. Lam was previously a Clinical Instructor at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and more recently, a Clinical Instructor within the Urologic Oncology Group at the Stanford Cancer Center.
He has been involved in numerous clinical trials and has extensive experience in population-based research. He has a decade-long experience in public health/epidemiology and previously worked as an epidemiologist for the Cigarette Restitution Fund Program of the Maryland Department of Health. Over the past 15 years, he has conducted research in areas such as infectious diseases, hematology/oncology and injury prevention. He has collaboratively built and managed numerous clinical databases focusing on patient outcomes. His work has been published and presented at the Congress of Epidemiology, the American Society of Hematology (ASH) and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) annual meetings. Dr. Lam is also a member of the Delta Omega Honorary Society in Public Health and ASCO.
Dr. Lam received both his B.A. in Natural Sciences/Public Health and his M.H.S. in Epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins University. He received his Medical Degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he stayed for his Internal Medicine residency. Dr. Lam then completed his sub-specialty training in Hematology and Medical Oncology at the Stanford University School of Medicine.
In addition to his role as medical director of PMQ, Dr. Lam maintains an active oncology practice, where he specializes in the treatment of urologic cancers.
Dr. Jerry Chang is Vice President of Business Services for PharMedQuest. Dr. Chang has over one decade of experience in the healthcare industry with experiences in retail pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, pharmacy benefits management, pharmaceutical industry and pharmaceutical economics. He is currently an adjunct faculty member of the University of Southern California and mentors USC PhD Research Fellows.
Dr. Chang received his Doctorate of Pharmacy and his Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Economics and Health Policy from the University of Southern California. Additionally, he received his Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and Molecular Cell Biology with an emphasis in Immunology from the University of California, Berkeley.
